Cool is definitely the word for it!

The only problem, increasingly so as I make use of other brilliant emacs enhancements, is that I find myself typing gibberish when using other input tools (e.g. this text box in the web browser).

@Eric Sounds like you need It's all Text.

Actually, I do use alltext. It just that I only really use it (i.e. I click on the little text box that appears) when I know I'm going to be writing a lot of text. When I plan on only writing a sentence or two (like now), I don't bother. And that's when the second nature keying that I have from constant use of Emacs bites!

But I do highly recommend it's all text to anybody who hasn't used it!
